Hm. I managed to set up Xnest with Xdmcp to take a screenshot of kdm... and the svn user is gone. It seems the problem has somehow fixed itself. Strange, because I restarted my computer several times over the past few of days trying to fix the problem before I even submitted a bug report.
Maybe a fix was recently dropped into the repositories. Oh well. I can't explain it.
