I'm seeing this on an x86_64 install of Fedora 19 in an ASRock Ion 330HT
box, whose graphics Gnome Settings's Details pane describes as “Gallium
0.4 on NVAC”.

I don't appear to have an xorg.conf. /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/ doesn't
mention “HWCursor”. Is there any other information I could provide that
might help diagnose this?

I don't see this on an i686 (32-bit) install of Ubuntu Gnome 13.10 (nor
any previous versions of Ubuntu or Fedora I've used) in an Asus EeePC
900A.
