I made a batch of updates in which this and other pulseaudio components. pulseaudio (1:1.1-0ubuntu15.2) to 1:1.1-0ubuntu15.3
Now, I still see my phone soundcard under PA Sound Preferences/Hardware But it disappeared from the /Input and /Output tags. I can no longer select them as default !!! Improving, ever improving. Curiouser and curiouser.
