I think the best solutions would be to pull the 6.20 BCMWL driver and downgrade the official repos to the 5.100 BCMWL driver.
In the future do not roll out new Broadcom drivers until they have been thoroughly tested by the community. I do believe most if not all of these bug reports would resolved with this solution so perhaps they are the same bug. Brcmsmac is just not the correct fix.
