Hello David, Well, I've downloaded the last upstream drivers ('oem-audio-hda-daily- dkms_0.201306031445~raring1_all.deb') and now the internal microphone works perfectly!
I've tested the audio output (the notebook speakers), the included internal microphone and they both work OK. I've plugged my headphones w/included microphone and pulseaudio switchs between the two input/output devices perfectly. I've tested with Skype (4.2) for example, and everything is ok. In brief, the problem with upstream drivers seem solved. What should we do? I'm attaching a new alsa-info.txt using alsa upstream drivers. Here's the link for everyone else that wants to try them out: https://code.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-audio-dev/+archive/alsa-daily/+packages?field.name_filter=&field.status_filter=published&field.series_filter=raring Thank you ** Attachment added: "Alsa Info output in Ubuntu 13.04 using upstream Alsa Drivers (201306031445)." https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/1127699/+attachment/3693824/+files/alsa-info_DellVostro3360_Ubuntu13.04_upstream.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1127699 Title: Internal microphone does not working in Dell 3420 with Ubuntu Raring To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/1127699/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
