Could anyone capable of occasionally booting please provide the dmesg output? Even better, run 'apport-collect 1177086' ?
@Luis: When I reinstall Ubuntu, does it download the latest kernel during installation? It doesn't boot at all for me, therefore I cannot run the updater.
