Public bug reported: This bug exists since 2010, see duplicate bug 647004 for Gnome 2.
I checked file-roller 3.6.3 with an Ubuntu Raring 13.04 Live-CD and it is still an issue. file-roller displays files and folders in an archive as multi-column list. Clicking a column title sorts it ascending, clicking it again sorts it descending. It behaves like Nautilus, except that folders are never sorted by their date, even if the date column has been clicked. I'd expect that files and folders are always sorted according to the same column, namely the last-clicked column that shows the small arrow to indicate the sort order. ** Affects: file-roller Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Affects: file-roller (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Bug watch added: GNOME Bug Tracker #630543 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=630543 ** Also affects: file-roller via https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=630543 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1185735 Title: file-roller does not respect sort order for folders To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/file-roller/+bug/1185735/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
