I am having the same problem. The wireless network I am on has multiple
Cisco Aironet 1100s in range. The connection "roams" between the
different APs.

I am running the most up to date version of Gusty.
Linux staticsage 2.6.22-8-generic #1 SMP Thu Jul 12 15:59:45 GMT 2007 i686
GNU/Linux

I am using NetworkManager to manage my wireless connection.
