I've updated BIOS of my laptop to version 411. Without any workaround nothing works with adjusting brightness keys. With "acpi_osi='!Windows 2012'" work ALL Fn+Fx keys! I only can tell that if I manually adjust brightness with xfce4-brightness-plugin notifier, e.g. if I make it low, then if I hit either Fn+F5 or Fn+F6, brightness changes upto about 80-85 per cent (as I can see in xfce brightness notifier).

As per > www.service.asus.com/ an update is available for your BIOS (411).
