I'm wondering about the same update. Also I'm not able to find any other GUI tools for EncFS that would allow mounting encrypted directories on-demand rather than automounting at login time. Of course doing it from command line is possible, but not exactly user-friendly solution, especially since the GUI already exists & works fine and the only problem is geting access to it's icon in the notification area...
