I SPOKE TOO SOON. 3.8.0-19.30 stopped working after a reboot.
On one of my other computers, it boots to lightdm (after a wait), but in the wrong resolution. The HDMI driver is still broken here, and it takes the nVidia driver with it. Still using 3.9 mainline, which really works great. I wish Raring would just move to that and give up the 3.8 kernel with its odd patches altogether. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1169984 Title: 3.8.0-18 HDMI audio regression: Either oops or opening device fails with -ENODEV To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-release-notes/+bug/1169984/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
