Kubuntu 12.04 and 12.10 were affected by this bug as well. I can't remember if it was the case for previous versions, but the 13.04 still affected too !
For the moment, the only way to contourn the problem, is to select gdebi-kde as default installer instead of qapt-deb-installer. Please, this is a really bad and important bug, cause new users of Kubuntu, don't know about "dpkg -i" commands, or how to select another installer .... Don't you think it's dramatically funny that the installer say "Done", but nothing is installed???? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to qapt in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/979535 Title: qapt-deb-installer doesn't install any local package To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qapt/+bug/979535/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
