GRUB is a common and actual (2007) PROBLEM in UBUNTU with dual, trial, quadrial... BOOT CONFIGS with 1,2,3... number of storages!!!
I reopen this ISSUE! People needs tools outside from ubuntu to solve this and similar problems. Like: sysresccd http://www.sysresccd.org/Download (with GAG + RANISH included) Nobody saw: somebody uses windos and the other day uses Linux!!! This kind of people needs DUAL BOOT with default boot entry windos! For humanity with others!!!! Erery people is not a guru! This peoples hates: ubuntu update KILLS the default boot ertry to the new KERNEL from the default windos!!! (manually changed) This override is a Suse like STUPID feature!
