1. cleanly install emacs `apt-get install emacs24` 2. `M-x report-emacs-bug` 3. Expected: report-emacs-bug completes and leaves you in the email buffer to send your report 4. Actual: The "Load-path shadows:" step fails. The backtrace reveals that it is looking for "simple.el" and can't find it.
