Just checked yesterday with the nightly build for Lubuntu 13.04 x64 and the bug is still present. What makes it worse is that it also appears when someone tries to right-click and choose Open with ... from the context menu for an unknown file type, while in PCManFM.
Strangely enough, if such an unknown type file is created straight on the Desktop and right-click Open with ... is performed on the Desktop, it works - no crash (but do this before any menu-cached crash, as after a crash it will just not work anymore, doesn't matter if it's in PCManFM or on the Desktop). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1134022 Title: menu-cached crashed on Places (Applications, any sub-folder) navigation in pcmanfm To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/menu-cache/+bug/1134022/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
