* hda-jack-retask: I have hda-jack-retask for Raring now compiled in my ppa:diwic/hda, * latest drivers: The latest drivers can be checked with https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Audio/UpgradingAlsa/DKMS * vendor-specific COEF verbs Only Realtek knows about these verbs unfortunately. * EAPD or GPIO setup It is possible you can use hda-analyzer (available in snd-hda-tools in my ppa:diwic/hda ) for turning on/off EAPD. Not sure about GPIO. It's unusual for Realtek to use GPIO though. Anyway, hda-analyzer has been a bit unstable lately, so then you would resort to hda-verb (also in snd-hda-tools) and a copy of the HDA specification. You would look at the codec proc file ( /proc/asound/cardX/codecY ) to verify if the value you tried to set is the current value of EAPD/GPIO. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1170837 Title: apple macbookair1,1 microphones not working To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/1170837/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
