I have the XPS12 - backlight-control is working with 3.8.0-18 and -19 but the backlight is set to level 0 (disabled) on the login-window. The device starts with backlight turned on and it stays active until Ubuntu is loading after the grub screen. If I can provide any log files or so to help solving this problem, please let me know.
