@ Brian

In VarLogDistupgradeMainLog.txt is

2013-04-18 18:25:37,371 ERROR openCache() failed: 'E:Impossible d'ouvrir
...[rest not paste here -> see log for full information]
2013-04-18 18:25:37,372 ERROR self.prepared() failed

This I have seen here arround several times.

Let me see...

Here it is:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release-
upgrader/+bug/1168307

The logs also there(has already a dub) are not so informativ to me, but
shown the same as here.

Do you have a clue? Just for speculating: Could it be that a cron apt
like security updates is running unfortunately at the same time as the
distribuntion upgrade?

For now I close this here as dub of the mentioned report above, because
of the main log.
