Please note that frenchy82 is the only person I have noticed who reported that the LD_PRELOAD workaround did not work for him. So I get the impression that it was some other problem that was resolved for him with Qtwebkit 2.3.1, and that he now - unlike before - can start Skype using the LD_PRELOAD workaround.
