I started update process and came back an hour later to a blank screen.
After reboot Ubuntu was loading but instead of login it came to a black
screen again. Safe mode works, but not safe graphics mode.
Blank screen is a common problem with Sony Vaio CW, and I had to do some
special setup with external monitor to get it to work in 2010. However,
I don't think that an update should break it like that.
