Public bug reported: Ubuntu Release: 12.10 (quantal) Package: python3-cups 1.9.62-0ubuntu1 Python: python3 3.2.3-5ubuntu1
When I attempt to call setDefault('printername') on my cups connection object, I get a seg fault message: "Segmentation fault (core dumped)" I can do other operations on the object, such as getPrinters() and getDefault(). I've attached an example program that demonstrates the functioning object, and the segmentation fault - you;ll need to change the cups user in __main__ ** Affects: python-cups (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "example program that causes the seg fault" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1169387/+attachment/3645207/+files/cups-crash.py -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1169387 Title: python3: setDefault() causes "Segmentation fault (core dumped)" error To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/python-cups/+bug/1169387/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
