I have checked the Ubuntu kernel config on my laptop and it has $ grep -i RT2800PCI /boot/config-3.8.0-18-generic CONFIG_RT2800PCI=m CONFIG_RT2800PCI_RT33XX=y CONFIG_RT2800PCI_RT35XX=y CONFIG_RT2800PCI_RT53XX=y CONFIG_RT2800PCI_RT3290=y
and I tried to compile the kernel myself to no avail. any ideas?
