Public bug reported: I have an old acer aspire 3000 with sis 1039:6330. So, I configured the file xorg.conf with command "sudo Xorg -configure" and after that I copied the new xorg.conf file into /etc/X11. So now I can boot in lubuntu but I have low resolution 640x480. The only way to have the right resolution for my laptop is when I boot into recovery mode and after that I choose resume normal boot from recovery mode. Then the resolution is right 1024x768. It is very strange. Sorry for my english.
