If this is a problem with some buggy package release, they should try to update to the newer version available for their release to see if it's still a problem. :( But the reason why the vbox additions don't build could be very different on each bug. I don't think they are all duplicates (I agree with Stephen that bug #1167107 is not a duplicate)
