thanks so much to g00gle for the tip on the missing packages!!!!!!! this is not just for the lubuntu file manager (pcmanfm).
this makes ibus input on lubuntu NOT WORK. Fix the dependencies for ibus in the lubuntu repos already!!!!!! it has been a long time that this is not working.
