This is issue is really a "Show Stopper" for the general user population. A problem with no easy work-around and the lack of attention there has been in resolving it. Functionality of heavy\large folder transfers via network shares is a very basic expectation. And, if the problem is not a Nautilus bug, that's even worse, as it says the core OS is faulty. Users can live with broken Apps, but not a broken OS. This should be escalated to the highest level - needs to be fixed before next release!
