How did update-manager appear on your desktop?  I ask because the
release notes are looked up in the meta-release file and
http://changelogs.ubuntu.com/meta-release has the not beta release
announcement and http://changelogs.ubuntu.com/meta-release-development
has the beta release announcement.  While I could fix meta-release file
I'm curious why you got the -development one.  Thanks in advance!
