Public bug reported: how did i upgrade?
well, i installed the latest ubuntu 12.10 from USB, and upgraded it to its max, and then restarted. then i did a "update-manager -d" and aborted it with the cancel button, when asking to start. so it started to restore its software channals again. then i installed a package to play my .aac files. (automaticaly trough double click on that file) i didnt change the selected package, just clicked ok and typed my password, after that i played a music video .mp4; then i did a "update-manager -d" again and clicked ok and typed my password. it all went ok, and without errors, (with using my totem at the same moment), but then when changing the totem package in the upgrade, it forcecloses my totem, and then i was ok with it, and let it do the upgrade. -------------------------------- now : -my unity is visible on my loginscreen (i think a faulty attempt to load before login to reduce time). it is not interactive, but loads on top of the loginscreen(greeter i think??). and its text in his panel makes the tekst on the loginscreen unreadable (see screenshot) -my videos(totem) wont start anymore and begins about not installed plugins. my musicplayer isnt associated with my .aac and maybe all files.(not tested all files) - when i plugin my Samung galaxy s2, arent i able to select my partitions anymore from nautilus sidebrowser/overview. it just wont (visibly) trigger an action. my personal folders works ok. -i arent able to move windows sometimes, its content it working well... most of the time it are firefox or nautilus windows. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "20130324_125054.jpg" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1159399/+attachment/3593706/+files/20130324_125054.jpg -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1159399 Title: Horrible upgrade to 13.04...
