Public bug reported:

glibc 2.6-2ubuntu2 from gutsy, apparmor told me that nscd
wants to mmap /etc/passwd with PROT_EXEC:

LANG=C aa-logprof
Reading log entries from /var/log/messages.
Updating AppArmor profiles in /etc/apparmor.d.
Complain-mode changes:

Profile:  /usr/sbin/nscd
Path:     /etc/passwd
Old Mode: r
New Mode: mr
Severity: unknown

 [1 - /etc/passwd]

[(A)llow] / (D)eny / (G)lob / Glob w/(E)xt / (N)ew / Abo(r)t / (F)inish

I do not see why PROT_EXEC should be needed.

** Affects: glibc (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
