Just an fyi to anyone who is confused: It is only the ubuntu SDK version from which does not have unity integration. It comes from this ppa which is found from the app tutorial on ubuntu's website: http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-sdk-team/ppa/ubuntu
Install the package "Ubuntu-sdk", and qtcreator is forced to upgrade to the version which does not integrate into unity, lacking the hud support etc... So, if you are just developing for QT4, I believe you can simply for the time being, simply take out the sdk ppa and reinstall. I am going to bother the qt guys about this. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1126205 Title: Bring Unity appmenu / HUD integration to Qt5 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/appmenu-qt/+bug/1126205/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
