Thanks for testing the 3.9-rc1 kernel.  Since it's fixed there, I can
perform a reverse bisect to identify the commit that fixes this bug.

However, since it is fixed in the mainline kernel, that fix may have
also been sent to upstream linux-stable.  Before I start a reverse
bisect, can you test the latest upstream v3.8 stable kernel, which is:

v3.8.2: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.8.2-raring/
