Public bug reported:
Running Kubuntu 12.10. If from the battery plasmoid I uncheck "Power
Management Enabled" dpms is turned off. However if I check the box
again, dpms settings are not restored unless I log out and log back in.
Expected behavior is that unchecking the box will turn dpms off, but
checking it again will restore them to reflect my energy saver settings.
