I have compiled xorg-server from PPA localy. So now I have tried it, and "kind of" works. Not really satisfactory, although. What happens is that lightdm end up starting, BUT in the meantime, I have a TTY console showing off (ie no plymouth), and it takes a looong time.
Here is the log of such a case. ** Attachment added: "Xorg log, kind of works" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libdrm/+bug/982889/+attachment/3556312/+files/Xorg.0.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/982889 Title: X trying to start before plymouth has finished using the drm driver To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libdrm/+bug/982889/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
