Venky, The patch_realtek.c that I added to this thread on Jul 10 was what I used in 2.6.22. I didn't make any changes to hda_proc.c, I'm not sure if any are actually needed either. Currently I am running feisty without sound until I have time to work on it again due to other gutsy issues I am having.
