Could you please tell us the release of the host?
Were you saying in the description that if you do disk-only you don't
have a problem, so it's only the writing of guest memory that is slow?
I assume if you simply use 'dd' on the host, to the same raid1, you have
much better performance?
Can you give details on the backing of the raid1, the sizes of the raid
and LVM pv and lvs, how the qcow2 is stored in lvm (if it is just a
file, then what fs is on the lvm LV), and the host fs?
