** No longer affects: xorg-server (Ubuntu)

** Description changed:

Installed the new X stack from canonical-x/x-staging, rebooted, and
found that compiz crashes on logging in (the unity-greeter session seems
fine). I restarted lightdm and re-logged in a second time and hit the
  same problem.

I had updated the system just prior to installing x-staging, and I don't
think there's been any other changes, so am guessing the change in the X
- stack is what led to the crashing.
+ stack is what led to the crashing. Guessing this is due to the pointer
+ barrier changes that will need updated in unity (for which work is
+ already under way.)
