Hello and not quite I guess I confused you by including the good news about wine allowing my program to run now in ubuntu when it would not before. Ubuntu has updated and wine now works.
However, my problem is that I have been using my compiled dbase program for years with a backup I took home and updated my files at home. When I read about ubuntuone, I decided to install ubuntuone in windows and put my program in ubuntuone. Then when I used my program at work it would automatically sync and I could work on my program at home. It almost worked. The problem was that files got compromised and duplicated as per the example that I am attaching. So I tried dropbox and have been using it successfully ever since. Now I can even use dropbox in ubuntu and access my program with wine. In summary, the problem is that ubuntuone did not provide my data in good condition. Wayne PS.. I do not know if the other memo got through, but I got a message saying that the data file was too big.... so there is a smaller one attached to this.
