Christopher, why are you asking to file a new bug when my testing is relevant to the bug discussed above please? I would think having duplicates would make it more difficult to manage fixes?
BTW I noticed that I do not have the latest BIOS after all, so I will update it and re-test in 12.04 with a few kernels including the raring one.
