Thanks again for your input, Colin. I'll have to dive into this issue again in 3 weeks when I come back from my holiday, but a quick look at xidump shows the following:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ xidump stylus Unable to find input device 'stylus' [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ xidump -l Configured Mouse disabled Generic Keyboard keyboard Not good! Perhaps this has to do with the /dev/input/wacom thing you're mentioning. I'm gonna try this when I get back. I'm also wondering why Ubuntu doesn't have a graphical version of the xsetwacom tool (I know it exists)... Fiddling with these options in a terminal is simply annoying. More info in three weeks.
