Colin, I agree that it might not be that simple. But we should still
give end users this option, with a warning of course. Those who risk it
(not an average user anyways) will help the Unicode transition effort.
:)

For me it is pretty strange that Windows allows me to use Unicode user
and host names while technologically advanced Linux does not. :(
