Unfortunately this is currently not possible. See Debian bug report 375922
        http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=375922
and especially Florent's explanations.

What you *COULD* do is *remove* those packages not needed. They were
probably pulled in by the new tetex-extra transitional package. If you
remove tetex-* and install only those languages/hyphenation patterns you
need it will be better.
