Persistence definitely appears to be working in the latest tribe2 daily
build (7/12), except that I have to re-enter my WPA key every time I
reboot in order to log back in to my wireless network using the gnome
network manager. But, the system maintains changes I make to my
nautilus and firefox configurations, for example, and has maintained
newly installed applications. Not sure why the system would maintain
these other types of changes but not the WPA key that I entered using
the gnome network manager. Maybe that is a separate issue (e.g. with
the gnome network manager?).

I also did NOT experience the .ICEauthority issue in this latest daily
build.
