I'm waiting for the same thing.. Now i'm back to 3.5.0-21-generic kernel since the 3.7.1 wasn't stable enough. I have an acer aspire 5930G. Maybe there's something with the laptop's BIOS... I could not find an update since v. 1.24 from 2008. I've read in this thread about patching, but I didn't quite understand how to do it.. Hope to fix this as soon as possible!
