I did my best but as I expected I wasn't able to make my wifi to work
properly with kernel 3.8.

The thing is that my wifi works in my ubuntu 12.10 as I separate module
in the kernel (see http://askubuntu.com/questions/139632/wireless-card-
realtek-rtl8723ae-bt-is-not-recognized). This solution is not adapted
for 3.8 or solved hence wifi is not recognised when I apply you mainline
kernel.

I don't really think that this issue relates to the torrent bug because
as I said I got the problem already with other computer.

On the other hand, after some digging, I have seen many people asking
for help because of the same torrent problem. A suggestion is to reduce
the max number of seeds. I'll try that workaround to see if it works but
I still think that the network should freeze like that.

Thanks
