I don't know if it is the right place to say it, but I think the way update-manager works is very unintuitive to new users.
Say I have a 100 updates to install and one of them is not trusted. When I click install it will display error message and close. To install updates you need to find the untrusted package on the list and uncheck it. Installer should ask if you wan't to install untrusted packages or at least uncheck them automaticly. It is very difficult to new users to know how to do it themselfs. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1092362 Title: update manager won't allow updates t/b installed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/1092362/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
