Public bug reported:

It is impossible to change the resolution of my screen (Notebook screen,
reported as LGD (DFP-3)) to anything but the native resolution
(1920x1080); no other options are listed by the nvidia config tool.

Noveau and the Windows driver correctly detect the full set of supported
resolutions and can set them.
