But that doesn't make my work easier. Can you please add this feature in
vpnc and help me please.

I found on this webpage http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/vpnc-howto.xml that it
is a problem of DNS Masquerading. Although it doesn't work for me (possibly
because Gentoo is different from Ubuntu), is there a way of solving this
problem in some way?

I am sure some changes in the shell scripts that configure the tunnel as the
default gateway can be done? Can't we use the user's terminal as a DNS
server and then route traffic meant for VPN through the tunnel and the rest
through the default gateway?

Also, can we modify the code that adds and removes gateways to make it just
add one more gateway and not remove the others entirely? If you notice the
bug report and the forums, this is one of the most important reasons why
people prefer Microsoft to Linux. I am sure, Linux has the ability to beat
Microsoft. Kindly give this a try.

Solving this problem will bring Ubuntu many more customers in the
future.

Thanks and Regards,
Balaji
