I found a workaround for this bug: I had script to configure some power saving options and this script hat the following line:
echo min_power > /sys/class/scsi_host/host0/link_power_management_policy Since I deleted this line the problem does not occur anymore. I had this option switched on for one year an the bug occurred since Ubuntu 12.10. That leads me to the conclusion: The bug must have to do something with power saving of the scsi host and there must be a change between linux 3.2 and 3.5 that leads to the bug. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1063354 Title: Sudden Read-Only Filesystems To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1063354/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
