I have meet the same problme, following is detail I use my IBM T43 with ubuntu 7.04 for servral month, and after the reboot this night, i can't login the system. display 'can't access tty...etc'.
I want to konw the status of this bug, is it closed? and how about the solution? I have many important data in my computer, so I just want to konw how can I login into my ubunut from BusyBox prompt?
