Ok, I finally managed to spend some time to retrieve the requested mythfrontend output. See the attached file. My system does not use automount.
The output doesn't look very helpful though. It seems that myth correctly identifies my AD-7170S DVD-RW drive. No pointers to failing eject functionality unfortunately. Any suggestions on how to dig further into this?
